Brian Beatty On Amiri Baraka

Borrowed Trouble: Micro Tribute to Amiri Baraka (1934-2014)

Amiri Baraka

Thelonious Sphere
I’m thinking

with his name
typed/hyped out here like so
many black & white

keys dancing
(solo, mumble shouting “Go!”)
up & down the stage
of the page

ought to be all the poem
anyone I know needs
